Couldn't make it to the game, watched it on TV.
Cheersquad were absolutely brilliant. Being 40 odd points down in the last quarter and hearing "COOLLLINGWOOOOOD" in the final minutes put a huge smile on my face!!! Well done to everyone associated with the effort throughout the game.
Having read most of the posts regarding the 'bottle', it's clear that it didn't come from you guys - unfairly treated by the media in my view.
Keep up the great work!! I'm proud of you.

It was good by all involved as to the chanting in the last qtr. We had a group of saints fans next to us that could not believe how vocal we were for the entire match, everytime they tried to sing their theme song in the last qtr, it was drowned out by us starting our song or chanting the slow collingwood.
What was also pleasing to see was that hardly anyone at the coventry end, botom level, left the game, the louder we got, the more people stayed to show we dont quit. I think the players would have got goose bumps coming off the ground with us cheering like we were, fair enough we lost but encouragement goes a long way to help restore confidence.

Totally agree - I saw two ladies leave at about the 15 minute mark of the 2nd quarter and that was basically it for the rest of the match. It was a wonderful effort by all and very impressive when I watched the replay.
We just have to try and keep it up every week - at the G is hard, but we did it on Prelim day last year and we can do it again!
I left that ground VERY proud to be a Collingwood supporter and I'm sure I wasn't the only one.
Remember our old slogan - At Collingwood, it's one in all in. That rang true on Saturday night.
Hurrah!

Congratulations Cheersquad - you were seriously AWESOME !! Iwatched the game on TV and as the game went on you got louder, in the end I couldn't hear any Saints at all ! To hear the long, slow Colllllliiiingwooood
chant - fair dinkum - it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up...I LOVED it !!
