MM doesn't have that much time, he needs experienced players that will make us a top 8 side again.

Drafting youngsters for the future may have to wait a year. So far we have only been linked to young players anyway, Dal Santo, Ball, Johnstone, Hunt, Bruce etc...

Balme can't say anything about trades yet except they won't happen.

The move is possible, but it would be worth it. Unless Tex is mature enough to hold down full back, the answer is no.

no no no.
1. we wouldn't get value for Presti cause he didn't have a great year, with injuries etc.

2. somone made the point that it took time to mature Presti, and he's worth keeping, so why waste the investment?

3. Presti is a sure thing. Cloke, Walker etc aren't.

4. Walker is not ready. The backline without Presti would have to have J. Cloke at CHB and Maxwell / Clement as the third tall, with no depth. With Presti, we have J Cloke as the third tall, and he can be thrown into a key position if needed.

Presti stays.

Ben, people will remember Presti's great form from 2001-2003. He can't be traded until Tex plays 17 or more games for the year.

Correct. Another bad year and trouble looms. But we can't make a Saints of 98 mistake and sack him on the spot. That Alves move killed the Aints.
