Yeah well we could just as easily swoop down out of nowhere on Thursday arvo and land a big name no-one even imagined would be traded... like 2 years ago.

But I doubt it. More likely we'll pick up Chad Morrison and Marc Dragicevic, and some other kid who hasn't played a game yet. Trade week will end, we'll be immediately disappointed, and then over the off-season we'll convince ourselves and each other that these guys are exactly what we needed...

...so every trade week is exciting!

Draga has been delisted by the Tigers (ie. can't be traded). That rules out one dissapointment.

I must be in the minority because I don't think we need a major overhaul to again be a finals contender. But Collingwood's trade week silence is doing me no good at all.

Trade! Swap O'Bree for Johnstone! Swap Buckley for pick #60! Swap Fraser, Didak and Lonie for Paul Koulouriotis and Jobe Watson! Take Lekkas and Picioane and give the Hawks all our draft picks and our entire backline! Do something, because I can't take the suspense!

I can't sleep, I can't work, I have hit the refresh button on the afl.com.au website at least 80 times in the last hour. I am pouncing on any rumor, no matter how flimsy; "What's that? Buckley, Tarrant, Rocca, Clement and a 2nd-round pick to the Bulldogs for Peter Street? Seems plausible..."

I need something to happen, and fast. I am going stir crazy... This must be how the draftees feel...

We're probably not doing much becuase we're waiting to see what Geelong will do re: Bartel and co. It'd kinda suck to land a good deal like stright swap Dew for Shaw, then have Thompson go: We'll take 7 and Shaw for Bartel. So those deals are probably being discussed but not acted on yet.

The Power won't deal Shaw for Dew. It would have to be LOkan and Shaw/Shaw and a 2nd/3rd rounder.
