thing is utter crap how can you have such a poor opinion of the kid already.
I can tell you I saw Cam Cloke played some bloody ordinary football for williamstown and he looked pretty good when he played for the pies.

lay off

Did Cam Cloke get dropped to the Reserves?

and Lol you guys reckon we are harsh on here! go to these boards and you'll find out how nice and gentle we are:

Hotrods - http://www.voy.com/51976/

LSD - http://p074.ezboard.com/btheouter

Dare you suggest how good Billy is over there :)

Not having a go at those two excellent boards either. They just have a different approach than Nicks. We all balance each other... but right now you are in the 'light side of the force' at Nicks. Beware the Dark Side...

The dark side should be reserved for Richmond.

And I think he was playing 2's cos he missed an entire year of footy prior too this year, so I think the rust had well and trully set in.

But he was dropped to the twos at the END part of the season, not the start. The rust should have been out by then.

First full season in senior football, just turned 18, big bodied forward player who at all times last year, Brad Gotch referred to as a smart footballer who leads to the right spots but doesn't have the ball delivered. Dropped to the wo's didn't surpirse me as the young legs grow heavy, he'll come along just fine.

Maybe , maybe not. He may not find his feet again until 06.

And if he does he'd be 20 years old with 3 full pre-seasons under his belt, I still wouldn't be writing him off. If he hadn't of done his shoulder in 2003, everyone in the drafting system acknowledged he was a top 8 pick and we got him at pick whatever.

Time is money, but patience shall reap its own reward.

No point arguing with all the doubters, coz when he comes good they'll all turn & say "yeh but he still played shit in he's 1st year"

Give him another 2 years. He can't be judged at 17 after one season. Patiance and he will deliver. He may have looked lost at times, but he is only 17 - give him a break.

Give Billy A Break

A little bit of paticence people. It's his first season please.
So what if he has played games for Williamstown Reserves.

Cameron Cloke played some games for Williamstown Reserves in his first season and If my memory serves me correct others like the Shaw's, Hall, Walker, Mullins, Leonard, King, Rowe, etc. have as well.

Billy will need another season or 2 before we will decide whether he is going to make it or not. Like it or not some kids will need time developing. They can't all be star AFL players from season 1.

Correct tdesmaele, people are looking at him only because he was taken early. Leave him alone everyone - he will take time.

Its harsh I know but, I'm predicting 'Shovel Hands' Morrison will be cut at the end of 2005.

Yes, I too would love to be wrong, the kid has to turn things right around in the next 12 months though. We shall see.

I can't believe this! Why get rid of a fresh faced kid after two years?
