Hate to break it to you but they did make the finals and were clearly a beter side than we were in 2004.

Point being? He was still played off the bench. What would be the point in picking him up? His stats aren't anything special.

Yeah, and did so without Gardiner.
I'm not doubting the West Coast team hoggy, it was about the player.

I wouldn't pick him before Cole
I wouldn't pick him before Lockyer
I wouldn't pick him before Rowe
I wouldn't pick him before King
I wouldn't pick him before any of the three Shaws
I wouldn't pick him before Johnson
I wouldn't pick him before Woewodin
I wouldn't pick him before O'Bree
I'd pick him just ahead of Lokan.

Given that these are guys that play off the wing and half back, you tell me where he gets a game with Collingwood.

My answer: Point Gellibrand

Ahhh, well, I would prefer Adkins over Williams. That's for certain.

I'd love Chipper back. Remember in 2000 when he was burning up the wings, and looked a real bright young spark? I definitly do it. O'Bree for Adkins? Done. :D

Been there, done that, no thanks.

Then again, Chipper for Williams does have something morbidly attractive about it.

Don't forget he wanted to leave and have a fresh start. It would be nice but I doubt it.

He mentioned in an INSIDE FOOTBALL article at the end of 2002 that he wanted to leave, as all the players he made his debut with (Fraser, Davis & Johnson) were a head of him and he wanted a fresh start.
