labrooy wrote:Both Davies and Heath Shaw get better every game they play. With a good preseason both should be able to push for regular selection even witha full complement of players available.

With the expected improvement of Rusling and C3 we could be in for good times ahead.
Both seem to be able to kick a football straight so that is a good start. Very happy with these blokes.

IMO Heath Shaw was even better, which is saying something. One of the two must surely pick-up a Rising Star Nomination.

What a crop of rookies we've come across this seaosn! :)

I might go out on a limb here and say that I think Ben Davies is going to be a star!
I'm not sure what it is exactly, but in the games I have seen him play, he has been excellent. He has very good disposal, pace, and importantly, knows how to get the pill as well! He has good defensive skills too!
He has had to do it the hard way via the rookie draft, and I think we may have unearthed a "special".
I actually believe that next season he will be a part of our best-strength 22.

Good to see that we have a unanimous decision about Davies. He has what it takes, no doubt about that.
