hey Chow,
I can understand where ya comming from, i usually go do to the pub to watch the pies play, when only televised on fox footy, but it will be worth it in the sense that you'll be with follow pies supporters instead of a bunch of port or crows clowns, plus it is always good to be able to dribble shit to people that appreciate and agree with what your saying. ill be joining up myself so hope to see ya down there and have a few beers

Hi Chow,
Thanks for your interest. Mick and I were at both 2002 and 2003 GFs and it gutted us too. We figure we've been through the tough times and there is no way we'll be missing when 'Pies reign again - and there is every reason to be optomistic in 2006.
As you would have read in the letter (which is also available on another string in this forum), there are many benefits to members other than "sitting in a pub" as you put it. To learn more, please come to the function on 26th Feb.
I really don't think $25 for a season is a huge investment - it's $1 per week for the season.
The group isn't there to make money. Any money put in by members, sponsors, etc, all goes back to the members in some form.
If you want to be in, you're welcome.
Hope to see you on Feb 26th.
Cheers.
Marty

Heya Molloymagic,
Couple of places to check out.
the nearest one to AAMI stadium is the lakes resort, this is were the pies fans usually catch up before the game, and its only 1 min walk from AAMI
phone number is ( 08 ) 83564444
website : www.lakesresorthotel.com.au
Or if you wanted to stay in the city try The Chifley

Depends on what type of accomodation you like. I personally like self contained cause you save money by being able to make some of your own meals.
