Hey RW(nr), how about seeing what the kid can do before you bag him. He might just surprise you.

Before the West Coast game you bagged the team mercilessly but never once did I see you say you were wrong.

You should take your negative attitude somewhere where it is appreciated.

Johnson#26 wrote:Fantastic! I'm right on his bandwagon. :P In all seriousness, he's a great kid, who works extremely hard and could possibly do a tagging role. Neat skills, perhaps a bit of a Lockyer/Nathan Brown (Melb). Great news.
Do you think he will get NAB Rising Star nominee after he picks up 50 kicks tagging and toweling up "Goody" Goodwin. Goodwin will turn his name to BadLose after Illesy finishes with him.

Illesy is future 10 times All-Australian material.

Don't worry about RWNR he just wants some attention. He thinks making exaggerated and outlandish comments will get it for him and it probably does.

Thomas may be the one to exit, the jab he had against the toast seems to have come back to bite us.

Now is the time to put Paul Lucuria back in the Collingwood side. It is screaming out for Lucuria's talkents. Not a first game player. If we win this game we are still top 4 material.
Perfect example of the moronic exaggerations RWNR comes up with to draw attention. Never lets facts get in the way of him talking absolute pointless rubbish.

Lets look at the facts regarding Licuria 'winning us so many games for Collingwood at AAMI'. Putting aside the Qualifying Final (not the Semi Final he can't even get that part right) where Licuiria won us the game, Licuria has done next to nothing in our wins at AAMI.

Facts:
Licuria has played in 4 other wins at AAMI at his time in Collingwood, in none of those 4 games was Paul the match winner.

Here are the wins 4 games:
Port, Round 8, 2001 - 3 Brownlow votes to O'Bree, 0 votes to Licca who had 9 touches for the game.
Adelaide, Round 13, 2001, 3 Brownlow votes to Buckley, he had 37 touches 2 goals and won the game off his own boot one of Bux's best ever games. Meanwhile 0 votes for Licca, did nothing.
Adelaide , Round 14, 2002, 3 Brownlow votes to Buckley, Fraser was probably the star this game though, meanwhile 0 Votes to Licca, he was average.
Adelaide, Round 7, 2003, 3 Brownlow votes to Woewodin, Tarrant kicked the goal to win it after the siren, Licuria 0 votes, he was ok that day but no match winner.

Over those 4 games Licuria averaged 18.5 touches, below his career average.

Would you like to retract your statement that Licuria has won has 'many games at AAMI' or keep it as it fits in beautifully with the crap you always come up with?

We have to move on from Licca..

He has not had the best last 2 months and he is being shown up for his lack of pace and skill.

No one could argue about his heart but in this day and age you need more than that..

Lets move forward and give Sammy ago ahead of Licca..

Thanks Sam I'm sure you do deserve a crack at the bigtime, but it seems a little Peter Taylor-ish, Simon Cook-ish, Scott Muller-ish or even Gavin Robertson-ish at best.

Illes should be held back as we have easier games to play before the end of the year which are more suited to newchums.

No one hopes Sam Illes plays better than me but you can also throw in the names of Bo Nixon, Shackleton, Danny Roach who were thrown to the wolves or the Crowbots and never came back.

Good Luck Sam Illes.

We hope you eat Simon Goodwin alive. 8)

Well I am going to go on the record and say I look forward to watching this kid play. From what I have seen on the Telly watching Willy. He has smarts and skills and may well turn heads in the future. All Australian Material???(another RWNR Attention Deficit Disorder remark...mate do you have ADD??? :D )

We shall see. Of our recruits this year he is one I tagged as a real chance to make the side this season. But named against the top side in the Comp is questionable?

Go get 'em Sam, and play to your best. As a supporter that is all we ask.

RWNR, it's stupidly unfair to slag off at Iles prior to even playing a senior game. And who said he'll line up on Goodwin?

FWIW, Sam'll be fine, he'll step up to the plate. :)

An interesting comparison.

Anyone remember Paul Geister playing two of his four AFL games in finals?
