Gee, here's something different.....a thread where people take it in turns to hang sh*t on Dave the Man, then Tess turns up and talks about others being naughty.

Dave the man...keep being yourself , mate. take no notice of all the crap about grammar, spelling and supposedly stupid threads. You're a passionate Pies person. That's not something to be ashamed of. If some of the superior types here choose to look down on you , it says a lot more about them than it does about you.

Hmmm.....stories about Pies? Well I didn't see anything on AFL.com about any pies. What type of pies are you talking about? For the record, I love eating pies at the footy.

It's got nothing to do with people being/feeling superior. But, the thread makes no sense, so perhaps Dave needs to try and think a little longer about what he wants to say before pressing the submit button.

while I can say that applies to me, and some others (I think he's a legend), some of the replies to his threads do get pretty nasty.

My view is, if you really don't like him, when you see a thread by him, skip it. It's not that hard, and besides you probably have a general idea of what the thread's going to be like anyway.

I think the only problem here was there was no links, or mention of what stories were on the Pies, on AFL.com.au might be something for him to remember.

Most of his thread can be understood, but this one was a bit silly.
