AMEN Cam!!

Clemo....you must have been sitting where I was. This one idiot in particular was on Tarrant's back all night and then started on Bucks. How quickly people forget! I let that idiot have it big time in the last quarter though, when I saw that he was on his feet screaming 'TARRANT!' after Chris's magnificent 4 goal display.....I hate fickle people!

Fickle?

Or perhaps just reflecting the relative performance of the player through the game?

CAM, what an interesting point of view. So let me get this right, in your mind all we are allowed to do is barrack for Collingwood and say nice things about every player in the team even if we know it is not true.
I pay my membership, that entitles me to criticise and to express an opinion. What's it like in your world.

Well I totally agree with Cam.
He did NOT say that we have to say nice things about every player but that we should not bag and abuse them whenever they make a mistake.
Sure we get pissed off and disppointed when they stuff up but I'm sure they feel a hell of a lot worse about it than we do.
Some of the players copping abuse are about the same age as my sons and in my opinion, a little encouragement goes a lot further than constant abuse.
Just look at players that cop it everyweek like Corey McKernan etc. It ruins their confidence so that they are no longer game to try.

Stik - exactly, couldn't have said it better myself.

Hard at it. The Collingwood way.

Oh dear me.... Broadie was that Tarrant bagger you? Image Yes, did I mention FICKLE? By that comment I am guessing you were probably not a fan of Pebbles before this current season! Taz was down with the flu and missed 2 training sessions during the week also, I thought it was a mighty effort, a sign of a good player can also be interpreted as someone who doesn't get anywhere near it for 3 quarters and then can stand up and be counted and WIN the damn game for you!! Taz is not as consistent as he could be but give him time, he also gets probably the 2nd best defender on him as well.

Along with Rhys Shaw they are the most two improved players this year.

And the Collingwood Juganaught keeps jug-jug-jugging along

I cannot say enough about this man. His heart is equivalent to phar laps.
My oxygen is Collingwood. Without it I die.

I reckon that 75% of his kicks are now great ... not OK, great. That is a huge improvement on previous years. The poor kicks are very poor but he is continuing to improve. He may well turn out to be a gun player ... great evasive skills and speed. Lets hope he becomes a champion.

well if u look at the stats, he's the most accurate kick in our team..... he hits the target more often than bucks..... i dunno why people critisize him for his poor kicking..... he barely does a thing wrong with it... :?

hell yeah johnos gal benny johnson is a bloody superstar and I love having him at Collingwood!
He is a life saver and that awesome tackle on Burgoyne last year really did wonders for his career.

He is a gun and could quite possibly be in contention for nest pies captain!
cheers
Will.

Johno is a champ and i would not write him off from a top five spot in the copeland. He was up there last year and has improved off the chart this year. And you never know he could be the next Paul Licuria.

Another who one Gavin Brown who has helped out one on one.

The ones I know of are

Johhno
Dids
Cole

And the backline plays very similar to the way he did. Never give an inch and make every opposition team possesion a contested one. Now I think he has a hand in the backline coaching as well.

And Macgyver I reckon your pretty well on the money with the Copeland.
