I completely forgot to mention sammy illes he was enormous today, just fantastic, impresses me more and more each time I see him.

Cooky floated in and out of the game but kept running all day, and I thought stanners was solid, took an old fashioned speccy right in the centre circle.

yea it was a fairly even side toda. every one played well.

just reckon that clarke can go harder in for the ball. on 1 occasion at least he just stayed out of the pack. i know its only his 2nd year in afl but all the 1 percenters he does makes mm take notice.

Hey Die4pies, that last pick labelled "frosty". Has Straunie lost weight?

Peter sends his harks. Close to AFL selection too, so he will have to drop his Before the Game committments.

he must have been anticipating this, as he's been replaced by Mick Molloy

LOL,

hey, serious question about Toovey. People at the game seem to have rated his game very highly; what kind of role was he playing?

ie, was he doing the run out of defence after getting a handball recieve; was he playing loose' playing on a direct opponent (KP or small); winning it in the clinches......... I'm trying to figure out what style of game he plays.

dawes was good. was in many contests.couldn't hold some of the grabs - slippery ball -. but presented well. came off in the last quarter and was attended to but didn't look serious..

stanley took a couple of terrific marks. i thought he had a pretty good game.

the ground was in pretty good nick except for the half forward lines which were quite chopped up.
