Dees are learning to play the MCG well. They are able to spread their forwards which makes it hard for our HB line to peel off and support each other. This stops Maxy and Heater and Harry from playing their natural games - we lose a lot of our run. One-on-one these guys can be suspect.

Melbourne also use the corridor very well and the last 3 weeks have shown us that teams who are prepared to run hard and fast down the corridor against the Pies will give themselves scoring opportunities. I just don't think they have the polish up forward to kick a winning score. At least, I hope that is the case.

Pies need to turn up ready to play this Monday. If we are 5% off the boil we will drop this game.

^ good post, Day-Jar Voo. they definitely seemed like they killed our run last time we played them. Unfortunately for them, we have better players all over the field. Monday we will show them why we're going to win the premiership this year.

Is it just me, or do all male Melbourne supporters sound the same? "goo deeeeees" all whiny like? oh man i love to beat them

Only one change of any kind of urgency this week: in N.Brown, out Presti.

Any others will be just for the hell of it. A bit like Swoop's above .
Well done boys!

Snow season starts so a G full of black and white.

No chance we will underestimate the Dees this time, BUT any talk of 300 point massacres and record scores should be met with banning from the BB until we win a flag.

Depending on the weather, I would like another tall forward if the weather is fine but no change for a wet and dreary day.

^^No, there will be Dees supporters there. Queen's Birthday is their Grand Final. It's off to the snow the week after.
Well done boys!

Nice to do in humour but damn, it does show the amount of depth we have.

I think we will be ready this time. Just got to find a way to stop Davey setting them up to go through the corridor and work out a way to stop them clogging up the game by having a zillion players around the contest. We have to know not to be all be drawn to the contest like last time.

I expect they'll drop Watts and bring in Dunn who kicked a bag in the VFL.

I'm guessing that if they don't win by this margin, like they were supposed to in Rd2!!! they will be ""'Weak as piss""??? I'll take a one pt win or any win against ,what will be a fired up opposition who will want to go one step further than last time.

I don't think I have ever bagged our team on here but anyway I get your point. I'm sure there will be knives either way.

I will be happy with a win with any margin. Although, I do like to relax a bit in the last Q. So a 6+ Goal lead would be nice.

Will be interesting if we can get our defense to hold up a bit better and restrict their scoring more so than previous weeks.

We still seem to be leaking too many goals. And it seems to be done with multiples. Would like to see us control this better.

Interesting, that we've lost all the low scoring games and won all the free flowing high scoring games.

At the start of the year, you would susspect the reverse.
