What for? Really he has been not much better than a witches hat all year. No disrespect to Jack intended but lets face it, he aint setting the world on fire and he is not a key forward. Bring Fraser back while Cloke is out and see how he goes in the forward line.
agreed. Anthony has done sweet FA all year and Trav hasn't exactly been a real shining light either.

If Leroy is going to be meaningful, then him standing up as a forward when its needed would be a great positive for this team

And he has too, the big Leroy. Critical goals against Sydney and Port, multiple goals regularly.

We will miss Clokes work up the ground but not on the scoreboard, because there is nothing to miss there.

Watching the game now on TV (WA) and I have to say this is one of the most disgraceful display of umpiring I've seen for a long, long time. How the f%ck Jolly wasn't getting a free kick for being held every second ruck contest I don't know.

Given the weather, the situation and the umpiring was heavily weighted in the favour of Port the boys did extremely well to come away with a convincing win.

The only downside is the reporting of Cloke, and he will go for a couple of weeks as a result of that brain fade. Haven't seen the JA incident(s?) yet so I won't comment on them.

Excellent win, under difficult circumstances. Another great game from Swan.
Well done boys!

A very sound victory tonight by the Woods!

Tonight's victory saw us withstand Port Adelaide's onslaught with the breeze. At times we opted to kick into the teeth of the breeze which cost us goals. We were much better in the 3rd term, where we used the ball by hand to run it up and score a few goals. The second and fourth terms were stock-standard when we kicked with the breeze.

Strong win.
To recover from a 1st quarter that was ...
a) Badly played from our perspective,
b) Strong on emotion for the Power
c) so strongly influenced by a gale force wind advantage to Power

plus having 2 goals kicked by them in the second against the wind.

I don't reckon any other sides other than Cats, Saints & Hawks would've survived that.

Well done. Always tough over there. Even tougher this time.

And we came out looking way too good for them.

Bring on the Aints.

Josh at CHF will do me just fine. Trav could do with a rest anyway and Jack is struggling.

Go Woods

We lose Cloke, we lose. The boy is a vital cog up forward for us regardless of how the stats play his game up as.

This kid is the best CHF in the league at the moment, bar none.

That's a big call Stui, agree he is vital but on what basis do you rate him the best in the league? Without seeing the games live it is impossible for me to see what impact he is having other than his stats.

Er.. Riewoldt... er... Buddy ..... er Jonathon Brown...

Trav is very important to us for sure, but not in the same league as these guys, surely?
