Will be a lot of whingeing, plenty of negative posts, but really who cares? We lose nothing by losing that game

Good thing is Sydney has something to play for, which would then give us a 7 day break, Hawks will be knocked out next week and the Dogs are no trouble, plenty to look forward to

If we were as accurate as our competition today we would have kicked 19.11 (65% conversion).

I have so many things I could say about McCarthy, Nathan Brown and Dayne Beams right now, but I'm too upset, and I'd get banned...

Probably never - kicking skills are learnt when you are a kid. Some people hav a good technique, some have an average one that can be improved and some you can't change.

Consistently bad goal kicking accuracy continues to rear its ugly head. All going to plan we will play in 3 finals games, we are bound to kick badly in one of them and our season will be over because of it. It is too late to improve now and this worries me.

I hate losing.

Anyone else think that the end of this season has an eerie resemblance to last season.

Put it in context everyone - no better time to be motivated by a narrow loss - finished top anyway - all the reserves available as have been eliminated in VFL (medhurst terific) - and no major injuries! The world is our oyster ....

McCarthy should de-list himself and save us all the pain of more years of frustration.

Hey dont forget we won the minor premiership for the first time since the 70's so that has to be some achievement,BUT look at it from another pioint of view, depends on who we play next week as depends on how we play.....
There are positives and negatives,BUT look on the positive side ,the PIES are still on top of the ladder and WILL win the flag

And the last 18 seasons before that? Net result has been the same.

Hopefully we can turn it around.

yet they still beat us.

not worried by a loss, more the complete loss of run in recent weeks. we have reverted to the chip to the boundary, stop, chip, stop, chip, turnover etc crap again.

hawks showed how simple it is when you have tall targets (as we do). long and direct to 20m out, mark or crumb for goal. relies on winning midfield though and mitchell was so far out in front for BOG we never got near it.

My my my - wouldn't having a skills coach at the start of the season made a big difference when it really counts.

Very poor momentum heading into the finals.

Learn for next season.

Coaches give you direction but skills win you matches.
