We had about ten guys way down on form tonight, yet we still guts out a win, despite shocking kicking for goal, and thats got to be a good sign. We can and will do a lot better than that, and our guys know it. Swans were desperate tonight, gave it their all, and tho we were ordinary we still won and got the job done and dusted. Now for the hawks, we have had our scare, look ahead now.

I agree. We struggled with it last time and lost, this time we came off the bye and had to travel. I'll take that win. The truth is that we could've won by much more, however that is a perfect preparation for the Hawks.selkevh wrote:A win's a win.
Last time off the bye we lost.
Now to give the Dawks an ass whoopin'
We got the points but we'll be wary and focused next week.

Thank God it's not next week. Hawthorn would fry us on that performance, even with their second string side.
Shocking night. The curse of the BYE is a factor and we've lost all momentum at the wrong time of the year. Have to get it back quickly, because that performance tonight was not worthy of a top four side.
The Scum will be gloating tonight. And they have a point.
Apologies to Cloke (who gets better and better) and Leon Davis who is incredible. When everyone else seemed to panic and lose their heads, these guys kept theirs. I'd add Luke Ball to that group, but we all know he doesn't have a head.
A very un-Collingwood like performance tonight. Awful really. Less said the better.
[Oh and to that knob who started the rumour about Harry O. You cretin. His finger wasn't even strapped. Obviously you fell for a hoax buddy. Although I have to say Harry played like he had a broken hand. ]

Lucky to get the win.
Pies in the off season get a reasonable 2nd ruckman.
Seriously Wood could have been a witches hat for all the competition he gave Seaby. Or perhaps we could try to get the swans ruck coach. Do we even have a ruck coach?
We were crap but got the points. Lets hope we lift next week or we will get beaten.

A few spots up for grabs after tonight's effort.
Even before the injury Didak continued to look off the pace to me and like Medhurst last season doesn't seem to have improved greatly in more than a half a season of football.
He should be spelled in the VFL for a couple of weeks but I doubt it'll ever occur.
Pity.

I actually don't think we played that bad, apart from the goal kicking obviously. Our zone was good, our pressure was good, our tackling was up.
We were just abysmal in front of goal. Yes, bad kicking is bad footy but I'm not worried in the slightest moving forward. I think thats the first time we've kicked more behinds than goals this year?
A win is a win regardless.

We were sluggish, but we got the job done & we got the points.
Time to move on & focus on next weeks game.
That. Is. All.
Oh & SYD are shit!
