Adelaide made a prelim last year and got within a kick of the gf and despite a poor start to the season have steadily improved.

They are a proud club and there season was on the line tonight so played accordingly.

A good win in the end but still plenty of areas we can improve on.

Happy with the win, and so glad Beams played out the game and got better as the game went on :)

A good start to the weekend!

Thank you for the 4 points. The usual suspects were good, but Witts is starting to show something. Only 5 games, can't wait to see him with 50 games under his belt.

Yep. Plenty to improve on, which adds to the merit of this win.

The Crows certainly came to play and had a lead but we pulled them back by half time and went on with it, kicking the last 4 goals of the game.

Again, our stars shone but I loved the 'lesser lights' inputs. Dwyer, Krak, Marley, Young, Caff etc

It's a game. Enjoy it. :D

What a game of Footy. We fought it out right to the final Siren. Something that has been missing.

Does not matter if you are 2 or 40 points ahead at 3 1/4 time that is how you grind out a last 1/4.
All this may be summed up in one word - CHARACTER - and if that is not worth developing, nothing is.

nearly umpired out of the game, they had some brave soldiers but the better team prevailed. Boy are we looking strong, especially good games from the Silky Six - pendles, ball, beams, swan, sidey and dwyer!

Gotta stop those slow starts because it will kill us but at least we finished well. A really intense game to watch. Just when you think you have it after a classic Krac quarter, they come back. Congrats to 200 gamer "hard as a cat's head" Luke Ball and Steelo did some great thingts in his 100th - loved the goal! Take a bow Marley - a really good game.

I think there is so much room for improvement.

Too many continuous handballs in tight instead of a kick out of the congestion.

Still giving each opponent 5-10 metres space in every position when they have the ball. Hawthorns precision kicking would hurt us.

Biggest issue is defense, leaving players 1 out instead of going up third and forth man. We need to stop ball watching and attacking the drop zone in numbers instead.

I think Keefe would be a great addition tomthenbackline with him spoiling and marking. This leaves Reid forward which gives us much better structure.

Overall, we really need to defend tighter and as a team otherwise syd and hawthorn will demolish us IMO.

Phew! few hairy moments, loved the win though, some good signs.

Hopefully we can get some run into a few of the blokes coming back from injury, cop no more injuries and hand out a few sh1tburgers come September!

Hahahahaha, 'Hard as a honeymooner' is an absolute pissa.

Frustrating win but that'll do. Marley was great, and it's great to have Beams back.

Good win. Withstood the early pressure and ground our way back in.

Loved Dwyer in traffic and Marley. Blairy kept gutsing it out and started to find some touch and Beams a nice return.

Timely shift of Reid up forward again when the game needed to be turned. Would like Keefe brought in to make it permanent.

Witts improvement evident. Held some grabs. Well done.

Cloke kicking frustrating but so was the umpiring against him.

Shaw and Sinclair had their moments.....of frustration

Elliott needs a run in the two's. Fumbled and didn't chase.

Congrats to Ball and Sidey on milestones and Pendles for his first 40+ disposal game.

Keep building from here.

Tough tough win. Should have won by more but I'll take it. Any word on Young? Though he played a good game but was limping and lookd down in the dumps at the end??
