H and our 3rd for Watts and their 3rd.

Hate to be a party pooper but there is a chance Melbourne might have to use pick 22 to secure father son player Stretch.

That would be a major blow because if they offer up pick 22 for H we should accept it then run like buggery.

Potentially we could end up with picks 4, 8, 22, 24 and 28.

Hine can work some magic with that.

Nothing is done and dusted until paperwork lodged at the AFL during the trade period.
Really? how will Geelong ever come up with a 2nd or 3rd round pick
Not saying they don't have the capacity, just that nothing is certain until paperwork is lodged, particularly with a player of Clark's history.

F/S would lock up their pick so could be a problem if it's pick 2 for Stretch. End of 1st round pick compo for Frawley would work equally well.

We won't get 22 for H, we'll be offered whatever Geelong give up for Clark. Probably their second rounder, 33 or so.

Then we reject it.

If they can give 23 for Vince then Collingwood will demand 22 for H.

Can we? Adelaide were desperate to get into the draft following the Tippett sanctions... and if a deal didn't get done Vince would have stayed at Adelaide without issue. There is no way Harry is staying. Don't get me wrong I'd love 22, but we'll be offered what they get from the Cats.

Think it will end up being something like H + 28 to Melb for 22 +33. Essentially equates to a mid second round pick.

Not a bad outcome really.

I've heard a lot from Hine about our age profile 22-25. I wonder if a straight swap for Tapscott could be considered.

Tough to even speculate until the F/S and FA stuff gets sorted. An exchange of 2nd round picks and their 3rd round pick wouldn't be to bad. What compo they get for Frawley will influence their preparedness to look at that though, as will what they get for Clark. Will the Dees F/S Stretch, what will he cost, will they have to commit their 2nd round pick? And what happens if Moore miraculously slips to our 2nd round pick and we no longer have that available.

If Moore slips to our second rounder they can literally have H for some steak knives.

It must be a pack of 6 though.

LOL.
