Guess this might explain why we are willing to trade Beams for picks 5 and 25.

I'd prefer pick 23 thanks demons.

We seem to be whoring ourselves to anyone who shows any interest.

Clark to Geelong
Varcoe to west coast
pick 32 from west coast to Melbourne
Pick 23 and 32 to Collingwood
Prince Lumumba to the Dees to claim his inheritance as the chosen one.

Common Melbourne you're getting a Prince! Royalty don't come cheap.
I think pick 23 for H will be enough.

Let's not get crazy.

Doesn't mean it has to be Varcoe. :P

That's not what Melbourne are saying Swoop. They reckon pick 23 is overs. Whatever they get for Clark is what they'll be offering us I'd say. Let's hope it's not Varcoe. Their next pick is 84 or something.

What position did he play this year?

Played 23 games but only averaged the 15 disposals and kicked 9.6.

His return is getting less by the year.

Pass for me.

Vince cost em pick 23.

Lumumba plus our 4th rounder for pick 23.

No it doesn't. What I see a lot of though is people crying out for more pace and more skill. Then when a player is offered up, it's "oh but he's so soft!". The same was said of Del Santo. You can't often have the perfect player (not everyone is Ben Sinclair), there is almost always some tradeoff.

That's not to say Varcoe would be at the top of my list, but as a type I don't think he's a terrible replacement for Lumumba. Though I think it's more likely he'll be heading to the Roos with the money they've freed up by losing Greenwood.
Well done boys!

If we have Varcoe and Armstrong in the back line at once, I think I'll spew.

Rather get pick 23 and take it to the draft.

Some promising types will still be left at that range.

I'll go against the grain and say we could do worse. His shoulders are flucked though aren't they?
No Pressure, No Diamonds

They used to be a happy team at hawthorn.
