We did enough ... meek opposition but good to get some form. Next.

Outside my votes: Broomy, Grundy, Elliott, Seeds, Sammy, Rams, Langdon, Trav and Oxley.

Excellent team effort.

102 points after quarter time, to 27.

Well it was a good ordinary win against a side that are a complete failure. I want to see this effort through the next five weeks before I start even believing that what I saw against Adelaide was a bad dream

Aint's are gone. Sad to see. Especially for Molly.
I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for.

Nice to win after that terrible start. The mistakes in that game were horrendous. I was laughing often. I watched on Tv though. Can someone who was there desribe how slippery the ball was?

The best part was that a midfield missing Adams, Greenwood, Sidey and Thomas had 77 inside 50's. How did that happen?

16 centre bounce involvements for Tim Broomhead tonight. Only 1 last week.

Had 22 disposals as well.

Midfield is this kid's destiny.

Anyone who thought we were 'dominated' last week, **** no THAT is domination.

Piss off St Kilda.

Loved Sam Dwyers game tonight. I know not BOG but when he's on he looks like a 100+ game player. And yes as someone else said Varcoe adds that little bit of magic every good side needs. Although Elliot also ads that magic to IMO.

I couldn't watch the game and was blown away when checking the result. 140 points and 12 goal kickers. OK the opposition wasn't great but it's a very long time since we've hit the scoreboard that hard. Very encouraging. Can they do it against the better defensive teams across the ground?

Very pleasing win after a horrid start.Yes,i know it's only St Kilda, but they did beat the Gold Coast last week,so they can't be that bad.I was very impressed with some of our young kids.Grundy keeps getting better and better, and Broomhead looks like a star in the making.

Crisp looks pretty good to me,and Varcoe had his best game so far.He really attacked the ball well tonight, and he's good at taking out opposition players.(in a good way of course!)

Really good signs tonight. Varcoe terrific pressure. Swan now on fire and Crisp Oxley Frost Grundy etc all played well. Looks like we have some real talent esp Broomhead

it didn't rain but for fair chunks of the game ere was a light drizzle. enough to make handling ball difficult hence lots of what looked like sloppiness over and above what you might normally expect.

tonight the game plan was evident for all to see. it usually is when there is not much of an opposition. we're on the right track. saints were dreadful after quarter time and continually turned it over. we did what we had to do.

Umpires were brilliant tonight. Jacob Mollison, Matthew Nicholls and Leigh Fisher (who is an ex-St Kilda player).

Can we please have that every week!

Cloke got 4 free kicks
Cloke got a 50m penalty
Grundy got a ruck free kick
Collingwood 28 free kicks to St Kilda 16

You'd come away from that game knowing Toovey played a good game defensively in terms of negating his opponent and effort but boy his kicking can let him and the side down and against better opposition it's a heart breaker and can be a momentum killer.

Goldsack only plays next week for mine if there is a specific role for him.

With Oxley, Langdon, Toovey and Seedsman is he required?

Perhaps he or Langdon should play on Heppell to try and curb his influence as he often kills us.
He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!
