Yeah Lovell is pretty small. I expected him to be our best prospect in the draft, despite his size he was quality. Even though he was quiet in the second half against Bendigo when I saw him play in the wet.

AT 174cm I say he is Too Small and would have Little Upside

A little Ian Callinan in a way, short, can get a lot of the ball, doesn't really waste it when he has it. In the games I have seen him play he has gone missing a bit, though he had an outstanding Under 18s championship.

Whether or not he can make it at the AFL level, I have no idea, but I reckon he'd at least be a top player in any state league. I am not player expert just my observation.

I guess we'll just see how he goes.

Welcome to Collingwood though to Benjamin, hopefully he has a long and distinguished career in black and white.

Hawks love their midgets. Played more than any other team in 2015.

My thoughts exactly both at the time and still at the moment. He was in most top 30 predictions so something was up as to why he was still available at this low pick. It is what it is I guess and time will tell as usual.

Best part is he is one of us who made it. Got to love it when a Pies supporter makes it to Collingwood.

I have always admired courages player,s --you know the Tuddy,s and the Gavin Brown,s & who could forget "Pants"

Well I watched some highlights of this kid and to mark he just backed into the pack not once but twice and that IMO is the hallmark of guts

Not long after he ran to space to mark fully aware that an opponent was heading for exact same spot for same reason and did he flinch and put in short steps No WAY

Like the boy

It's a bonus that he bleeds black and white! :D
