From the outside you could argue he looks mentally cooked.
Lost so much confidence, particularly in front of goal.
Don't see him as a Blair upgrade, if Blair is leaving.

All this talk of Mayne, Dal Santo and Kim Jong Il is making me feel ill. If we load up with has-beens we are totally phucked.

Part of life at this time of the year RB.

It's not like we haven't all gone through this crap before in past seasons!

I won't bore everyone with some of our awful prizes from the past but I'm sure we all know them.

Awful prizes like Jack Crisp, or Leigh Brown, Darren Jolly, Luke Ball, or reaching back a bit, James Clement and Brodie Holland?

Just to suggest, older players can work.

Me too, Rudi.

Can we please stop with the battlers. We have enough of our own so there is really no need to bring in more.

How many of those guys were 30+ when we got them? Answer... zero!

Can you throw up a few 30+ examples who have meaningful contributions? Hudson maybe... Brereton...

The pre-match commentary at the cats v hawks game just said that it looks pretty certain that Mayne is coming to the Pies. I really hope they're planning to play him in the VFL as a backup...

Personally I like what Collingwood does with players from Freo. We have a good track record. I've got faith in the club to make the right choices.

Go Pies.

He'll be an experienced 30-year old head when we're holding up the 2018 cup. Nothing wrong with that. Maybe he'll remember how to kick straight from art shots again.

We need Jong. He fills a gap - We haven't really had a long-term shoulder injury on the list since Rusling retired.
