I can't remember a time when he and Collingwood were not synonymous.

He was like a grandfather figure to us 70's / 80's kids. A very kind man.

A Truly sad day for the Collingwood football Club,it's supporters and admirers of which there were 100,'s of thousands.Who could ever forget the 3 wise monkeys on league Teams late on Thursday nights and the winding up of Captain Blood? his ongoing work on the Good Friday appeals and his unrelenting sense of the comic. He will be sorely missed and another of the legends who made our great club what it is .
RIP Lou Richards and you are now back with your beloved Edna.

Very Sad to hear he Passed.

Though his Quality of Life on the Little we saw in the last few years must of Been Terrible for the Old Boy
