I had the NBN available July 2017, within a month it was unavailable as they had to do some more work. It's now available again as of this month and I have 18 months to sign on. I am on Telstra Cable with unlimited data with minimum of 35mbs down at $50 a month. To go to NBN with a suggested minimum of 45mbs (not guaranteed) through HCF and only 1TB of data for $70. Um no thanks as the price is bullshit when they cannot guarantee a service. Hopefully in 14 months they have fixed the plethora of bugs and varied the price low enough. The NBN is a cluster fck brought to us by Malcolm.

11.9 download and .8 upload seems to be average until the kids are both streaming shows.

TP it's a major issue and I am lucky, I can sit back and wait. I think the major issue and it's coming to crunch time where a lot of people who haven't switched to the NBN they will be cut off and if they do it last minute they will be without a connection for up to 8 weeks. Least it will coincide with a Federal Election.

We've got Optus cable & not sure of the speeds but very fast.
We also had NBN installed on the outside wll (not connected) and have about 15 more months left. I'm not doing anything for 12 months then I'll start looking. Hopefully the competition will have improved prices (and services).
Like a lot of others I'll have to pay more for an inferior product.
F*ck Abbott & Turnbull, they utterly f*cked up here. They only see infrastructure spending in terms of roads & subsdizing the mining industry.
Give me the PMG anyday
