Dr Dre has a mega-album called "Detox". Is that what you're referring to? Or "Pretox"? Not "Natural Born Killers"?! Hahahah... Jordy wouldn't kill a fly... would he?

And Dr. Dre said, nothing, you idiots! Dr. Dre's dead, he's locked in my basement (ha ha!).

Footy media were running with the story that Lynch's PCL injury may be a continuing issue. Did anyone read about that?

"May never get back to his best," the tabloid headline screams.

All I know is their fitness guy has been around for much longer than the past two years. (The fitness guy is not the only one responsible for injuries, though.)

There was a pre-season game -- maybe 2016? -- when Richmond tried to have the game ended early because they had too many injuries.

^ Okay, here it is:

NAB Challenge 2016: Richmond coach Hardwick defends decision to ask AFL to call off match early

https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/ric ... ng2mp.html

'Depleted by injuries to Shane Edwards (collarbone), Reece Conca (hamstring), Shaun Grigg (thumb) and Jacob Townsend (concussion), the Tigers were tiring, and decided to field 15 players for a period during the last quarter.

With Hardwick having made his way down to the boundary line, he and the club's football manager Dan Richardson pleaded the Tigers' case. But the league's football operations manager Mark Evans bowed to the interests of the broadcasters, refusing to allow the match to end.
...

"We were down to 17 pretty early in that quarter so instead of seeing five or six blokes cramping let's just get as many blokes as we can off, get the rotation and get them back on." '

Richmond are a pack of arrogant pricks

Well, it's worth thinking about whether it's luck or not. It looks like it's possible that Meehan and Inness can take some credit...

Agree. It only makes our prelim victory against them all the more sweeter.

The Tigers' board had a thread on Burge, etc. starting around August, 2016... "Sack him." "Get rid of them all." etc.

Quite amusing.

But one post said something about how they should promote the VFL guys, because their VFL team always put on 10-goal last quarters.

Inness was promoted after that comment. Maybe it's not totally luck and Inness can take some credit?

Rance:

https://twitter.com/nrlphysio/status/11 ... 5114231811

"Unfortunately looks to be tibial shift on femur (lower leg bone pops forward below knee). Very worrisome for ACL involvement."

Can you blame ACL tears on strength & conditioning staff?

Update: knee reconstruction confirmed.

They sold a bit of their depth to get Lynch. We'll see how they survive.

Very sad news for Rance.

I guess karma got him for all the sniping he has done over the years. If he has ruptured 2 ligaments he could be out for a lot longer. Confirmed ACL but if the medial is damaged as well he will have no hope of getting fit in time for finals. If they still have the same surgeon they have had for years he did some work on me. Funny bloke. Threatened to set fire to a motorcycle riders Harley in for his fourth reco. When he diagnosed me and said we need a look I was leaving Cabrini and it was around 5 ish and he said where you live. It wasn't far (Just off Burke Rd) and he was going that way so he offered me a lift in his new Jaguar. He reckons netball Victoria paid for it. If the same bloke is still doing it Rance is in good hands. Used to do Richmond and Melbourne plus the netballers. Probably retired now and living in Portsea.
