And Hawkins, again. He has the game's entire score (2.1 to 0), so far.
I am barracking for Port on the night - but it is concerning that Geelong are off a 4-day break and Port have had two more days rest (Saturday versus Monday games) but Port is the slower team out of the blocks.
Hawkins has his 4th. Port seemed determined to keep playing their undersized spud wearing 17 on Hawkins, come what may. The guy has no idea how to play in defence. Geelong lead 36 to 12. Hawkins has 4 of the 6 goals scored in the game so far by both teams.
The only thing I can put it down to is that Port got ahead themselves after that great performance against Richmond. Plus their defenders looked a bit scrawny next to Hawkins, I'd hope Roughhead or Dunny could match it with him.
