Just watching the flow of this game, Geelong can't win the flag with the side on the field tonight - there are not enough one-touch players and too many "role-players". It may be different in finals with Selwood and Ablett back (and perhaps there are others out) but that looks to me to be the problem with this side. They have too much size and strength for most teams but when faced with a side with some genuine class players, they look a little short of the mark.
I'm not saying Richmond will win tonight - there's a long way to go - I'm talking about the style of play and skill levels more generally.
By the way, it's a dreadful spectacle - but we're all used to that.
