Both the elbow and collar bone injuries coming from heavy collisions. Talk about bad luck.

* 2018 TAC Season: 2/3 wiped out due to injury
* 2019: first season at Pies wiped out due to injury
* 2020: 1 game then broken shoulder
* 2021: 1 pre-season game and broken collarbone

Some guys just simply cannot take a trick aka:

* Sean Rusling
* Tom Davidson
* Danny Roach
* Mark Orval
* Chris Dalkin
* Ben Sinclair
* Tom Langdon etc....

His old man was a real tough bastard, hard as nails, cement head, hardly ever got injured. Just show, that good pedigree means nothing with injuries, its a shame but hes only a kid, give him time, he can make it.

He needs a bit more body mass and a bit more muscle ,but don`t expect him to emulate his old man like the Brown boys , Daics and Moore do. Different era and different style.

At least we saw a few seasons of Ben. Old biscuit bones needs a diet of cement and water.

I'd have to watch both incidents again, but... should an AFL player's body be able to absorb that sort of impact, without bone/joint damage?

Who knows. But that hospital ball from thomas(sigh) was a pearler and grimy made the most of it and so he should. A perfect placed knee on top of kellys collarbone. You see that collision all weekend and the terrible speeky attempt last year was dime a dozen but clumsy. Well know if it happens one more time me thinks.

Latest one was on a Kayo Mini, didn’t help that Josh Thomas put a simple pass over his head.

Reminds me of the hospital handpass Beams gave Wells for the last act and injury of his career.

Will Kelly is Ben Reid Part 2

Post by inxs88 »

I posted a year ago my fear was Kelly was Reid reincarnated. He is doing nothing to alter this perception. In fact I think EVERY SENIOR game he has played has been followed by a long term injury.

Well fortunately he has not played many senior games, so it is still a small sample size.
