We would have given a better contest but the end result would be the same. We were banged up, playing on spirit.

The bright side is it's basically the end of an era for Geelong, the only way from here for them is down.

This morning took the Ormond station 0559 train to Spencer Street. Train to Geelong on Platform 3B (is this Harry Potter), ride to Queenscliff, ferry to Sorrento, rode to Mornington, coffee and a toasted sanga, rode to Mordialloc (loo and water) rode home with friend Sarah (had a cuppa with Mrs WPT then chucked Sarah’s bike in the car) and driver her too Murrumbeena.

Apart from sore knees, sore bum, sore hips, tight hammies, tight glutes, cramping++++ it was marvellous.

Took 4 extra magnesium tablets and 2 Voltaren.

125 km’s

On 9/10/22 there’s Around the Bay in a Day; 210 km with fundraising for the Smith Family.

Work tomorrow at 09:30.

You can have that all to yourself, I didn't know the batteries lasted that long.
