I hope he gets more opportunities than Kyle Martin ever did.

I’d love to know what the knock on this bloke is for him to have been overlooked in so many drafts. He looks like a pretty decent AFL footballer to me. He uses the ball well, finds it a lot and seems to also work hard off the ball.
Michael Barlow was another one who came from the VFL and made an immediate impact at AFL level, so we shouldn’t be overly surprised if Sullivan did hold down a spot in the Collingwood seniors ( albeit it’s a pretty strong and deep midfield ). Not sure how many “ extractors “ were prepared to play in our game day 23 but based on what I’ve seen, I’d be shocked if he doesn’t get a taste of seniors sometime through the season.
Sullivan is going to be a fascinating watch and it will be interesting to see if a number of clubs look back and regret not giving this bloke a chance.

More to the point it's time to retire Scott Pendlebury before he further dents what has been a wonderful career.

Him and Harvey Harrison were BOG in today's VFL game going by all reports.
Sullivan's opportunity of playing senior footy can't be too far away now.

WooHoo!
Know the family - 26 year old went to primary school with Lachie and played junior footy with him for a couple of years. Was always the hardest working player on the field.
His dad will be really rapt as he is a Collingwood supporter, the rest are Saints.

Love these type of stories. A player doing the hard yards and persevering for years before getting a chance.
Hopefully he has a memorable debut.

Kyle, though I’m sure a lovely fellow, was not up to AFL standard.
