I first saw Champs at a Caulfield Uni night around 1980 when he fronted 'Young Homebuyers'. Great times, no idea how we ever made it home. Still got a cassette kicking around.
Another of the Couldabeens was Bill Baxter who was the subject of Paul Kelly's, 'Billy Baxter' song.
