Oman won the toss and elected to bat...2nd.

Australia batted first on what seemed a difficult wicket to play shots on. Head and Marsh went out early, Maxwell golden duck, Warner pushed on at a run a ball, looked like we were going to be looking at a score around 120 till Stoinis got his groove and started smacking 6's. Ended up getting 164.

Oman chasing, currently 4-35 off 8.3 overs.

As a side note, there's some eye candy around the ground, whatever your preference, as part of the show.

Not so much the pool which if full of pasty white people, but the female performers dancing in very skimpy bikini's with some kind of feather head dress, the male lifeguards and some male performers in speedos who look like they've been carved out of rock.

Oman made it to 9/129. Stoinis was comfortably PTOM - 67* and 3/19. Fine effort.

Now Australia's got the big game behind them with a win, it should be easy from here.

I'd expect the ICC Integrity Unit (if that isn't an oxymoron) to be all over this game checking for match fixing. Would have been some very good odds on the USA to win.
