I also went to the game. Poor attendance, and way more Hawthorn supporters than Pies.
Not much difference to last year on field. They are still cooked by half time and most of the team disappears in the third quarter. We are still too small & too slow. Will be lucky not to be wooden spooners. The Bulldogs game will probably decide bottom place! It's great to see Fredericks finally finding her position and thriving, and Bonnici & Rowe play all four quarters. I think Davey's best is behind her, unfortunately. The newbies haven't made much of an impression yet, but hopefully will improve as the season progresses. Glad I don't have to go to the Brisbane game. That could be disastrous!
