Let's continue kicking meagre scores in finals , and let their key backs dictate terms without a worry.

It was reported in the Hun yesterday that Eddie was in """CONSTANT""" contact with Fevola and councelling him about the events at the Brownlow.
I would call that a very REAL interest???

Now if you'd suggested that Cloke & our 2nd round pick for Fev & their 1st round pick, you might have got my attention. What you've suggested is clearly lunacy.

However, think we should retain Cloke and not too sure about Fev.

The name Fevolution indicates that we like him. I don't concur.

Simple answer is yes.

Collingwood in the next few years is in its prime premiership years, but needs to fight off some other good teams much like us that will be maturing also i.e. Dogs, Crows and don't forgot Cats and especialy Saints, etc.

You can not look at him as a "carlton" player and just because he's played for the 'scum' we shouldn't even look at him. Hopefully Eddie looks at him as a goal kicker that will kick goals and significantly help us win enough games throughout the season to hopefully make a top 4 or 2 finish.

You can never get a guaranteed goal kicker that will kick every goal, but he has a very good record and his recruitment to Collingwood would be a huge deal for a few months, maybe even the whole season, but people would get used to it, just like when Tarrant left...

Pies need to try bloody hard for him because we have the right mix of experience and youth in our side at the moment. Players are coming into their best years in the next few years so we need someone like Fev that can simple kick goals because that's what footy is about remember?

Kicking more goals than the opposition?

Fevolution might suggest a forward line revolution ~ one that kicks goals

 If that is fact, and eddie is onto the Fev, then things are moving at a quickening pace then. The plot truly does thicken more then. Never mind, Robbo will be onto this like a fly on a rib roast, so stay tuned. !

Put away the lube. He'll stay at Carlton and good riddance. Some of you need to look beyond your short term personal needs for once....

It's a hard one, we passed on Lockett in what 1995 because he was too old and too much trouble... well he went to Sydney and played 98 games over 5 years.

He was I think 29 or 30 when he was traded. Point being, sometimes a club has to take a risk in order to win a premiership. The risk here is huge, but if you fail to learn from history you're destined to repeat it. IF Carlton trade him then the club would be derelict not to look closely into it, our window is open, we have 3-4 years to win a premiership before falling back into the pack. An A grade full forward would give Anthony a chance to develop, take the focus away from Cloke's goal kicking and be able to assist our young forwards in learning the game.

I say yes... provisionally. Fev must agree to not drink alcohol like his contract a few years ago with the Blues. He should be on a rolling one year performance and behaviour based contract. IF he's available and not too pricey then go for it and grab a flag.

Pies also passed on Bernie Quinlan as well - and he didn't kick many goals at the Roys (plus a Brownlow).

Stop wasting time Fev will stay a Blue.

^ Had we had the nous and recruited Quinlan, he was there for the taking, we would have won the 79 flag without a doubt. Tom Hafey has often said this himself. Another "brilliant" Board decision, to rank alongside that of Lockett.

Officially up for trade. Still be tough to get something done since he has requested hawks or saints
