those Hawks just can't do it during the season proper no matter how invincible the tag they get is. Steve J and that big brute Hawkins just love playing those Hawks. Hope bucks takes e few pointers out of this. Hawks attack is second to none but if you can get them in the midfield and without Lake back there they are vulnerable.

And White should go to to Gibson. If he runs off to help out lake on Cloke create a loose man.And Cloke runs straight up the ground so if Gibson punches it stays in the corridor.

That was a ripping game, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Didn't mind the result either although, I'd still rather face Geelong than Hawthorn if I had a choice. No doubt Cloke won't be so lucky to have a mismatch as Hawkins did once Lake is available. He was clearly the difference imo.

interesting to watch hawthorn go to water under the press in the 3rd, also interesting to note geelong use it in the situation.

Great game on Monday. Geelong clearly deserved the victory in the end and it just raises doubts within Hawthorn that this supposed 'Kennett curse' isn't over just yet.
Overall great game and this just proves that Geelong will be a contender for the flag this season which is phenomenal considering it's very difficult to sustain this kind of form for so many years in a competition where equalisation shouldn't allow this to happen.
