Beams will definitely be gone to Brisbane (likely pick 4 and now a chance of something involving Sydney re Patful in a three-way). Source, before anyone asks, as per usual won't be disclosed. Make of it what you will.
I do not follow players at other AFL clubs as closely as some others here but could you please tell me how good a player this Patful is??

Patful is a 2 time B & F winner at Brisbane. He's a decent player and would be a loss to them

Turning 30 this year. Didn't realise he was that old:

Mitch Clark chooses Geelong

Just announced on SEN.
Well there's one off our target list.
It's not sour grapes, but I was never too keen on the bloke. He's really only strung together a handful of top games, been injured a fair bit and sadly for him, he had his personal issues.

Have they named a source or are they just talking out of their ass as per usual?

Yeah I hope he copes well with his illness and has his hopes and expectations met at Geelong.
It's no loss when we never had him in the first place.......

Players seem to be choosing Geelong a fair bit over the last few years (who can blame them).

Didn't make logical sense to pick him up as much as I wanted him.

Would of meant picking up Lynch, White and Clark three years in a row....it's odd trying to get 3 CHF's over 3 years.

That's purely speculative DTM. For whatever reason, he chose the Cats and lets be done with it....
I would have thought that playing in a one horse, one team town would have added more pressure but like I said, it's all bloody guesswork.

Oh and Hawkins and Clark is a pretty tall order for a defence to combat.

Bugger. Not going to pretend I'm not highly disappointed with that, really thought he would have been that dangerous partner to Cloke we've been searching for.
