Sure, Greene rubbed his fingers over the player's face, but I can't see what actual offence he committed, given that the players eyes were not actually gauged.

He's a nasty little prick, and clearly something of a sick puppy, but I don't think there's a rule against that.

Wish he played for the Pies.

I don't.

He's a grub and a coward.

Pane is going after him BIG TIME. Greene is lying through his teeth and I have a feeling they don’t believe his story.

“Pane puts it to Greene that he never sees his arm extend for the football...”

Go back one page and read my response to your earlier reply to your query, with link to the text stream

(Friggin rude to ask a question on a forum and then be too damn lazy to check for responses to it.)

Pane says: "Any contact to the eye region, no matter how slight, is inherently dangerous ... it is unreasonable and unnecessary."

I like where this is headed...

Pane describes Neale's evidence as "vague" and said it was focused on the aftermath of the incident.

This Pane fella is smart!

Pane argues that little weight should be given to Neale's evidence...

I like this Pane dude. Shame he wasn’t there for Toby’s trial last week (I believe that was the case).

He’s absolutely right. For mine, TG looked around to check if umpire had line of sight and then went in to hurt Neale. Was intentional. Just like against Bont (but less severe).
