In a nutshell, big attitude issues and multiple warnings throughout the year. Seriously I think we’ve dodged a bullet and the next big Collingwood scandal by trading him, if you want to believe it or not. Club made the right choice, trust me on that. Club won’t say it but I will.
So was it a good decision extending his contract length and putting him on 600k?

Giving up on a 21 yr old player of such prodigious talent is an admission of our failures, not his. Kids f&ck up. Our club has enormous resources and a host of coaches, yet we are now led to believe we were unable to nurture his talent and straighten the kid out.
Regardless of the innuendo being spread about this kid, the simple fact is, like the exiting of Treloar and Phillips, our club is guilty of completely mismanaging its salary cap. Not only is this amateurish, it's pathetic.
