Polls generally favour the left, people don't want to admit they like or vote for Trump because insane leftists make their lives hell so you can probably add a couple of points to the approve score.

Democratic congresswomen wear white to send a unified message to Trump, proceed to give him a standing ovation. Am I the only one who thinks this is totally weird?

I was more perturbed when a bunch of so called adults, elected officials, started chanting USA USA in unison.

God it was cringeworthy.

Popular culture is hostile to anyone who supports Trump or holds any right-leaning positions.

The left is in charge of our cultural institutions. However, the dominance they possess in the culture doesn't necessarily extend to political or economic dominance.

I don't know anyone who hides their support for leftist candidates such as Sanders or Ocasio Cortez out of fear of receiving vicious backlash.

It's all bullshit, I see examples from friends in the US post shit what the right wingers do and vice versa. It depends on which way you lean to what you believe is true. Same bullshit here. You love Trump he can do no wrong, you hate trump he is a Russian stooge.

Come August my Son marries his US girlfriend. She hates Trump, her parents love him. So a fun wedding.

We'll agree to disagree.

Congratulations to your son on his upcoming wedding.

Lemme guess, do they fit the demographic?

Mum and dad are working class midwesterners, daughter has been to uni?

Congrats btw, wedding here or in the States?

Stui, Dad is Chinese, Mum is Brazilian even though they have been US Citizens for over 20 years. They are wealthy and yes Erika is a uni graduate and has a degrees in a few things. Loves Australia / Melbourne and is a barista at the moment. I won't be able to match their wedding gift (a House in Essendon). I said I would buy a pot plant for the new house.
