Ok combined with his other stuff all I have to say now is we still sold him to cheap, but yeah I get it now. Will it be a wake up call? Could be funny if a Harvey gets the coach job!

Wish I could post it, I’m knackered from all the messages. Mods, seriously if you think this could cause legal issues delete it all. I think enough of the regulars at Nicks know now and can see the bigger picture. It just hurts that Geelong won the trade period and must be over their cap by miles. By the way, Geoff Walsh was asked and he hinted that it’s been ongoing issue with Stevo and reading between the lines they’d had enough. Like I said earlier, Swanny and the rats played up, but they were never disrespectful to club staff coaches and other players. They played hard but they ticked their boxes at the club with smiles. Stevo will learn the hard way at North

Hi, Mr Miyagi,
Could you please PM me if you can. I just want to understand why this has happened.

Yeah I wasn’t surprised the Hawks passed on him, even though I reckon Clarko would love the challenge. Flip is better character and will play a role.
Thing is plenty of other AFL players have done what Stevo did, but it’s a sum of all the transgressions the past year and a half that sent him packing. It’s not drugs or anything serious like that, just being a rock star twat to too many people.

Cool story bro.
But there had been a pattern since 2012 that whenever there is a player management departure/stuff up, the innuendo from the club is that it is always the players' fault.

I’ve seen the video and know people involved, Gerry. Stevo deserved a boot up the ass.

The club's responses in these affairs are so consistent - even down to Walshy's usual smear - they are almost an iron law - and there is always someone with the "inside story" vindicating the club.
No responsibility is ever taken. Nothing is ever learnt.

Soo...the narrative is he was an unliked trouble maker who couldn't do the business on field but we gave him a contract extension in March wasn't it? Must of turned sour very quickly indeed

Not long after apparently! I guess he felt secure! Even so Swans crap was worse, can’t believe we don’t have the personnel to sort this

Far out, talk about a star chamber...lack of transparency will kill any institution in the end, even the Catholics are learning that the hard way

TP, I have not seen the Mayagi film, so excuse my ignorance; is the narrative that stevo did something so unconscionable, after signing the contract extension, that his trading was a deadset must?
