^ No we don't. We have a new Labor Party leader. Our Prme Minister is Julia Gillard.

(Tomorrow that will change, one assumes. The Prime Minister is the person appointed to that office by the Governer General and, by convention, the GG appoints whoever has the confidence of the house. In general, a vote is not needed, the GG just accepts the word of the would-be PM. Then, if that person was telling porkies, the House passes a vote of no confidence, and the GG is duty-bound to pay attention.)

A WELLINGTON pub is offering syringes loaded with stag semen, kiwifruit liqueur and yoghurt, as part of its entry into a wild food challenge.
Sarah Wood, function manager at the Green Man in the CBD, says she has tried the drink after her curiosity got the better of her.
"Once you get past the fact that there is stag semen in it, it is actually quite a nice wee concoction," she said.
