And... I'm also an advocate for public floggings, stonings, cat-o-nine tails, whippings, S&M bondage rituals, and any other black leather clad activities that go on behind closed doors. Spider to the fly....

He’s doing what’s required and unti he puts a couple of howlers together it’s pointless discussion his return to Vic Park

Are we all now satisfied that Wills is just a small step below the standard needed to be a best 22 Collingwood player (given the strength of our team).

I think i am.

It'll be almost impossible to break in now. Daicos and Sier should be picked ahead of him. And hopefully we wont have any injuries to cover.

I like Wills tho. But it'll be tough to get another crack. Essendon might go for him at seasons end. He and Sier too.

I think Wills could have a role to play. I thought he acquited himself quite well when moved forward in a defensive role on Alir Alir...

Could be the answer to McGovern if it comes to it.

That said, I think we trust our best 22 to beat theirs and Wills doesn't look like he's there (barring injury).

Wills may not be best 22 I doubt he is.
But GF are won off best 32
He is in that area
Hope he proves me wrong and ends up first 10 pick each week

Or best 4, if you are the Tiggers and have zero injuries and your injury-hit GF opponents have become a sect, after Geebung have rolled over and died in your first final to set you on your way.

Without getting caught up in his pecking order of selection, his few games in the seniors showed me that he wasn’t totally out of his depth. That’s what the club needed to know and now they have a better understanding of his capabilities. He played a number of roles in his three games and in truth, didn’t spend that much time doing what he does best, which is hunting the footy.
The football season is now a game of attrition like never before. They are saying there have never been as many injuries at this point of the season as what there is in 2019 ( something 20% of players are unavailable in total )
Should he be required later in the season, at least we know we will get a workman like contribution from him on the day.

It was great to hear the Coach praise Rupe's efforts in his SEN session this week, describing Rupe's impact on the game as "profound", just before he was omitted.

Rupe's is currently a "poor man's" Jordan DeGoey.
I think he is worthy of persisting with to get him used to the tempo of AFL vs VFL speed of game. He did a bit in the dying minutes vs Carlton and Swans games to contribute to those close wins.

Yes, I think Rupert Wills is on board now as part of our armada going forward.

He's been given a bit of taste of it and shown to be backup at best. Interesting that he's gone past Crocker as a forward/mid, not too much between the two.

It's been shown to be smart by the club to give him some time forward. Even though he's miles off it for ability, for type he's a good De Goey replacement. Not sure that's enough though and wouldn't be excited about seeing it again.
