Yep, Collingwood kept kicking the can down the road by back ending contracts of agreeable players, including Ben Reid, who because he agreed to back ending was one of the highest paid at the club in his last year.
Agreeable. Doesnt pay to be a team player I guess
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!
I’ve been savage on little Jayden, but I still wanted him to grow up, make the most of his opportunity and be better. I wouldn’t wish a broken hip on anyone either.
The kid could be anything.
Clearly prone to poor decision making, but weren’t Swanny, Dids, Shaw et al guilty of the same indiscretions at that age?
Our best first year player in a decade and should never have been traded…
There are ever persistent rumours regarding his ‘extra curricular’ activities that may explain his sporadic form and seemingly downward spiral..
Let’s hope he gets back on track.

Yeah this incident just hurts him. Things he did in the hub, he had to be traded. Swan, dids and Shaw never ever did anything to threaten the game or their club and teammates. Good luck to him but some things within a club you dont come back from.

Yeah, cool story mate. (Then) future premiership player Shaw could have killed himself and Didak when he got behind the wheel drunk, but I suppose the gossip you've heard about Stephenson is just so much worse.
