But you can't win trying to kill a thread by posting in it can you?
Will we ever learn?
You are right and if it wasn't being repeated ad nauseum I would be able to accept others' different reactions more easily. They are entitled to them. But as we have been saying for months we are entitled to ours.
I am a plus one for locking the thread. At least until there is some actual news? As TP mentioned there has been very little. Just a lot of off-topic stuff that has been done to absolute death.
*insert obligatory animated gif of dead horse being mercilessly flogged*
Its funny BC, but what you are missing here is that people who are not ready to Lynch daisy aren't telling you that you are wrong. If you look, for the most part they are simply saying that either (I) there are likely two sides to this story and (ii) its hard to begrudge him given the offers on t5he table and the fact that footy is a business.
It is those that want to hate Daisy that are refuting every single point made by what I'll call the empathizers.
Its fine to hate Daisy for what happened here and boo him if you want. But its really hard for intelligent people to sit here and listen to you try to justify it based on facts that (I) don't exist (or at best are unsubstantiated) and (ii) overwhelmingly suggest he had little choice.
PS: the Travis Cloke thread become nonsensical after page 10 and it got to page 131, so I have a feeling this bad boy still has legs.

Before long the footy will be back and Dale Thomas' performances will be a hot topic amongst many Collingwood supporters. I would suggest that anyone that isn't interested should just not visit the thread.
Do we give out prizes at Nick's for the most sensible post in a thread? This is the winner by far.........
Either post a view or get the hell out and let others post in it.
Asking for a thread to be locked is as stupid as the right wingers perpetually criticising the ABC instead of just not bloody tuning in to it......

You trollin' now.
And having fun doing it too, you dirty dog.
Pliz to show me where there are the people that are trying to listen to me.
I do not think there are such people.
There are only people that think 'It's fine to hate Daisy, in fact it is compulsory if you are real Collingwood supporter'. Like you right there.
I am glad you remember my unsubstantiated and delusional theories E. Downright flattering that is. I am so sorry I cannot remember what your opinion was at the time. Did you think his ankle was screwed and he was for the knackery? Or do you have some substantiated facts to work from?
You would need to remember my crazy theories because they do not appear anywhere in this thread. Not at any stage of this thread.

So why are you bringing them up?
Oh that that's right you are trollin'
Hang on a minute there mate. Are you in the "let daisy go in Peace" camp or the I hope Daisy steps in a hole and his leg falls off" camp.
there is a strong chance, reading your last post that we are actually on the same side.
Its hard to tell because I think you posted after about 1 million beers.
I am in the, "let's be in whatever camp we want to be in and let everyone else be in whatever camp they wanna be in and all SHUT UP ABOUT HIM until there is something new to discuss" camp.
And yes, I could just stop reading the thread.
I just feel sorry for the horse.
Round 1, whether he plays or not, there will be something new to discuss, in the meantime won't someone please think of the poor damn horse?
Cue Lazza to remind us that he dislikes Darth Thomas just in case we had forgotten

Thank you!
Exactly the point I was trying to make, only to have it lost in translation.
No Pressure, No Diamonds
They used to be a happy team at hawthorn.

But what about those in the Let's talk about it camp. Can't you all just sod off until round 1 and let us talk? rejoin us at page 36 of the thread and just ignore the next 26 pages.
Why does everything always have to be on your agenda?
