His emergence as a quality pressure player makes it even more likely that Varcoe struggles to maintain his spot.

Brown is one of our cleanest and smartest players. He's building and with the blocks he has I can see him being a good, best 22 player as early as this year.

Doing the Mayne role well , his pressure is great , he has a heap of upside and hard at it on ya Callum.

He's developing nicely.

You can see his confidence and belief is emerging with each passing game. Hope he can keep it up.

He had 8 score involvements, today. Very, very impressive.

I can't wait to see him playing in the centre square when he has the stamina. I think our next great midfield, in time, has him getting first hands to the ball and giving it out to JDG and Stevo (the latter coming in from the wing).

Yeah he's really coming along, his nouse and skill are really making up for his inexperience and lack of size - good things to come, watch this space.

He’s prepared to back himself with the ball until he sees an option. It’s a good quality, particularly when you can turn on a ten cent piece like he can.

He'd be a gun if he could kick 45m consistently. That significantly lowers his ceiling, but he's good enough in close to still be a good, if never great, player. Sort of like post OP Luke Ball.

Played his best and most influential game today. He may not kick much further than Tony Shaw but he wins his own footy, puts his body on the line and raises his game when its needed the most. He is a best 22 right now for effort alone. Just needs to kick those set shots within range, DeGoey too so he's not alone there. He's coming along nicely!

F W I W, that’s two weeks in a row he has lead our tackle count ( 7 then 8 )
Not sure what that says about the rest of the team though.

He stix his tackles which is better than Sidey.
