Don't throw the baby out with the bath water

Post by Visdom »

I see a talented and committed list that need to believe again. A lot of nervous players. Bucks, lighten up the mood. Self belief look poor. Team belief is built of the back of self belief. Poor decision making goes back to belief and understanding of the game plan.

The talent is there. The question is can Bucks put it together. Bucks would be doing everthing possible. I say lighten the mood. Work on belief.

On a positive note how good was Grundy? sensational stuff.
Exactly, if we go 0-5 then fair enough, the real trouble is our awful dysfunctional forward line, Bucks has got to show some real flair now, as its just not kicking enough goals. We squandered at least 5 easy, soda goals last night, bloody Fas was the worst he could have put us four up, but fluffed one a ten year old could kick. Time to recast the forward lne, out go Fas and White, id bring in Jamie Elliott, young Daicos, put Howe up next to Moore, and put Hoskin Elliott down back, or vice versa, what ever. Bring Kirby in also to light up the forward line, we have got to do it now, before the season is totally gone beyond recall. BTW the tigers weren't much better, but at least Jack stood up when it really counted, we won on most stats, but same old, cannot kick enough goals, thus we must revamp whole forward line asap.

Even with the horrible misses, we are ahead in the third quarter.
Bucks then decides to throw an extra into defence. The backfires horribly as Rance and Houli now find room ... Richmond finally has finally found some run.

Bucks realises his mistake late in the thrid and goes back to a 6 man defence. Realising how well the loose man is working, Hardwick immediate counters by putting an extra in defence.
Bucks refuses to man this extra defender.

This continues to into the 4th. Buckley finally realises he has to man the extra defender so makes it 7 on 7 in our forward line.
We now start to fight back but the horse had bolted.

A terrible coaching performance

Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!

This is not directed solely at you LoneRanger.

It amazes me some of the stuff I read on this site. I actually wonder if half of you actually watch the game.

We started playing an extra off the back of the square at the start of second quarter because we were getting annihilated in centre clearances.

Of course the scene was eerily set early once again with the Pathetic kick by Schade while resulted in the first goal to Richmond and during the night he cost us another 2 goals through absolute brain farts and poor decision making.WTF is DUNN???Many have questioned why Blair is still playing for this club let alone last night. Last week he cost us the game ,last night he was not only a passenger, he was a stranger and his days MUST be numbered now..I can't for the life of me see what people wet their pants about over Broomhead..After that goal he must have thought he'd done his job. Can't play Goldsack anymore can we??? Kept Reiwolt quiet for a bit and then THAT 3rd qtr.Can we ever forget it.Reiwolt kicks 3 in 8 mins and Goldsack gives 2 more away with his brain fart disposal.Darcy Moore.Back to the. 2's where someone can teach him to kick and stop prancing around like a show pony. It's football buddy.Fasolo should have been dragged and left on the bench.Absolute disgrace too the GAME no less the club and the Guernsey.A Wanker who thinks he's better than he is.
Is there ANYONE who can tell me why we continually tap the ball backwards??As good asGrundy played, when he palmed the ball into the path of the free richmond player in their own 10 mar square and goaled , you really need to question their mental capacity and while I'm on Grundy, after kicking a goal from 55 and it travelled at least 60,WHY??? when you are on the 50 would you pass to someone surrounded by the opposition and stuff it up as predicted?? Anyone???I take back what I said about Ramsay. Sharra needs to come in.DUNN needs to come in.Blair ,Ramsay,Moore and Goldsack OUT!!!And last bust not least,Adams,as per Monco Matt is overrated and his first effort of a clearance which went straight up in the air and sideways to the corridor and resulted in a goal, piss poor mate.Get back to what you do best, whatever that is.Bye Bye Buckley.Never thought I'd say it but something is seriously wrong at Collingwood.

So who will come in?? Sure Sookwoldt got away from Goldsack late in the game, but he was one of the only blokes showing some decent aggression. Christ as much as I like Trealor each time he got crunched by 'diary whip' boy Cotchin where was the cavarly to have a crack at him? I agree on Ramsay the kid looks lost and we need a heap from D'Arcy but you cant drop him , he just needs to keep getting games into him.
I think Keefe would do better at Full forward than Moore. Varcoe will be back as will Greenwood by all reports as may Elliot. Scharenburg comes in as does Dunn.I think that covers my outs.
Moore is a huge failure at present and maybe Cloke made him Walk a bit taller and he didn't attract the best defender. I'm embarrassed about our disposal. It is totally unacceptable to keep this shit happening week after week. We SHOULD have been 2 zip.Bad kicking cost us both games and we will start hanging our heads and will become an albatross around our necks and we will be lucky to win a frigging game.
Moore had an entire year of getting games into him.He can't kick over a jam jar FFS!!! He's lucky to make the journey from 35 mtrs.

At his age Moore should be our 3rd tall... a lot is being asked of him considering he's barely out of nappies. He's played crap but far from alone.

Wrong to pot Moore.

He is 21 and built like a rake.

A fool of a coach is expecting him to hold together the forward line and engage the best defender.

A fool of a coach couldn't see Darcy's development would be hindered without adequate support in Cloke.

Bucks says we train with ball disposal a high priority but dont take it with us into games

So too said Jeremy Howe---so too said Pendles

Hello !! You appear to start well with acendency at clearance and reasonably good disposal
but at times have lapses

Will our ball use improve if we can eliminate those lapses

Or is it that we cant handle sustained game pressure as the game proceeds

Painfull to watch our passion for sucsess being wasted by these lapses or inability to sustain good form as game progresses
I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right
