Mate, this is Eddie. He and the truth are on different planets.Tannin wrote:Thanks Eddie, a useful explanation.
Sadly, just when I was starting to think you were half decent you screw it up (in the post immediately above) with more baseless slander.

anyone wondering, the needle didnt hurt, but then im not a needle sook, last night i was knackered by 7 and went to bed to watch telly, but i couldnt sleep sunday night, thinking about getting it, then hubby woke me up at 5.30am when he got up and i didnt get back to sleep, im ususally up til midnight so 7 is a tad early! tossed and tuned til 11 with a mild fever, woke up a tad tired in the body but not the mind,
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!
^ As I understand how they report, all 9 were reported between midnight Sunday/Monday and midnight Monday/Tuesday. 6 of them were mentioned in yesterday's press conference and so there are 3 "new" cases, in the sense that we hadn't been told about them until the numbers were published this morning. If you're trying to understand the trends, I think the only way to do that is to stick to a rigid reporting period and say it was 5 local transmissions yesterday and 9 today. When the press conference comes today, they'll probably give us a progress update on new cases since midnight - but unless that's a massive increase, I don't think it really tells us much about the management of the outbreak (although it might tell us more about the extent of the spread in particular settings, like aged care and so on).

It's also where they are. if they're a close contact who's been isolating the risk of them having spread it further is reduced.
If any are mystery cases who've been doing what seems to be the standard Covid +ve go to as many places as humanly possible, we're sodomised.
Anyway, I just walked down to the chemist and had my flu shot.
Apparently there's a Covid prevention better than masks or vaccines. Just carry a takeaway coffee and you're clearly as safe as houses.

Thanks mate but I'll work through it.
I don't want to leave the old girl here alone for an extended period and if the cold up there didn't kill if I took her up, I would to stop the complaining.
I have the necessary documents to establish an address up there and I'm happy to take my groceries up and stay on the property while I'm there.
This won't drag out much longer, Dan wants to get re-elected next year. Anyway, in 6 weeks I'll be fully vaccinated if I don't bring the second jab forward.

My experience was I didn't even feel the Covid shot, unlike the flu jab which I felt but could hardly say it hurt.think positive wrote: anyone wondering, the needle didnt hurt, but then im not a needle sook, last night i was knackered by 7 and went to bed to watch telly, but i couldnt sleep sunday night, thinking about getting it, then hubby woke me up at 5.30am when he got up and i didnt get back to sleep, im ususally up til midnight so 7 is a tad early! tossed and tuned til 11 with a mild fever, woke up a tad tired in the body but not the mind,
I was a bit NQR on the day too, but next day and onward all fine.
Well done you though, enjoy the fact that Bill Gates now knows everything you think.
