The more and more I read the papers and hear new reports coming to light in regards to Travis's contract situation, the more confident I am he will re-sign.

Lock it in I reckon. Cloke will be playing for Collingwood in 2013.

TRAVIS Cloke's management has told Collingwood the forward could be persuaded to sign for four years if the club increases the cash on offer.

Speaking to AFL.com.au on Monday, Cloke's father and manager David has conceded ground on the possibility of a four-year deal for the first time.

But good luck next year with Dawes as the full forward, on yesterdays form the side might struggle to kick 5 goals as a whole...
So one day is all it takes to earn a pay rise, not bad, not bad at all. Do barrack for Collingwood David or do you still have Richmond in your heart.

I'd be saying to Cloke, the longer it takes the less you will get, as other players are improving so quickly. The offer might be $750,000 pa now, but by year's end it may be $650,000. Players are entitled to be well paid, but it is a team game and no player should expect to be paid so much that it forces other quality players out of the club. If he is solely motivated by getting the biggest pay packet - which he is entitled to do - then he should go and play elsewhere. He will regret it for the rest of his life.

He and his ridiculous father have massively oversold his worth. One 50 goal season in 8 years is nothing special for a key forward, especially one who misses as many easy goals as him.

I'm sick of the whole saga as I'm sure everyone else is. It really wouldn't kill us if he went and we are compensated.

Good luck with Chris Dawes as your key forward, what is it 1 mark inside 50 for the season and about 5% accuracy from set shots?

Yeah lets keep him over our leading goal kicker most weeks...

Dawes is dead wood but we ain't being asked to pay over the odds for him unlike Trav and his greedy father.
