I found these tonight on you tube before I found this thread - bought back a lot of memories. :( It is like it was just yesterday. RIP Pants :(

Darren "Pants" Millane 19 Year Anniversary

19 years ago today he was tragically killed.

I was a bit to young to remember him but have seen a lot of footage and he sends shivers down my spine. He is what this club is all about. I'm glad I've got a picture of him on my Collingwood jersey.

The best there was and the best there ever will be. Tough as nails.

My older cousins introduced me to Collingwood and also told me a lot of stories about Darren Millane. Saturday night at Victoria Park heaps of us got in a circle and had a minute of silence and poured beer down on the turf for Millane.

R.I.P PANTS

You will never be forgotten.

As long as our generation tell our kids why the 42 was retired and who Darren Millane was and they do the same.

Darren was way over the legal limit and was decapitated when he slammed his car into a truck. I realised that day no one is bullet proof.

Great player and I had many fun times at the Tunnel night club.

RIP Dazza only guy I know that refused a local at the dentist such was his pain threshold.

If I had another daughter I would name her Millane. Just because I like it better as a girl's name than Darren for a boy. I wonder how many Steeles, Dales, Danes, Heaths and Maxs (for Maxwell) are going to be born in about nine month's time...

I can't believe it's 19 years, it still feels like yesterday. I know exactly where I was and what I was doing when I heard the news

RIP champ

Yep, the Raging Bull, they dont make players like him these days. It was de ja vu kinda in the GF when Dids had the ball, refused to kick it-as Pants did-and raised it when the siren went ala Darren. I wonder if Dids did that on purpose as a salute to a club Legend.?

RIP Pants - I actually told my 10yo son about you last night as he was looking through the players list and asked about the missing number

Incredible highlights. People who never saw Pants play must watch this. He would have been magnificent in our 2010 side as well had he been 20 years younger. :D
