They said the same in '08. At the end of the H&A they sat at 21-1. Comprehensive victories in the QF & PF followed......they still got belted in the GF. It ain't over yet.

Time to get rid of the average veterans...and we've got a few.

O'Bree and Fraser are gawn. The game's too fast for them now. Tarks can see the finishing line. Presti still has something solid to offer, but this is probably his last hurrah.

Leon needs 6 weeks with a gadija man.

Leigh Brown can stay in the 2's and carve it up down there. 2 clubs have seen his worth and moved him on. Last choice big man back-up AFAIK.

Ben Reid was excellent.

Jaxson Barham needs a different type of game to excel, a more open free running game. His game today was panicky.

Brent McCaffer needs a rest.

...and the Heath Shaw dragged to the back-pocket scenario happened again. Nothing was done about it. Give him 10 minutes in the guts, 10 minutes in the forward line, something....anything....just get him involved.

Tinkering is needed not wholesale changes.

I thought gynaecologists did root canal work
I think its the dentist: Ask Dr Longjohn: (could've gone in the oldies section in VPT):

What an insipid performance yesterday. Will this team ever learn that playing kick to kick around the boundary line never works. Why do we insist on playing this style of game week after week. When you run the ball quickly and down the middle you create more opportunities. By the time we get the ball to the forward line the opposition are already there to turn it over. The other thing that really shitted me yesterday was our inability to man up. Time after time we allowed melbourne to run freely and create space and score. The mid season break could not have come at a better time.

  • Our Goal Kicking was Pathetic and we be lucky to be Top 4 if we keep it up
  • Toovey is Useless and Holding the Side Back with his Shocking Disposal and we beaten today
  • We have been biten by the Injury Bug
  • Presti is just about Finshed
  • Good to see Dick played Well and Actually Kick Straight
  • Steele and Pendles where very good
  • Our Zone seems to not been working very well lately. Need to go back to Man on Mam
  • Have a Tough Game coming up vs Swans
  • Never Play Leroy "The Scrub" Brown ahead of Dawes AGAIN
  • We where Reactive instead Acting 1st
  • McCaffer is adding nothing to the side
  • Got Smashed in the Ruck
  • No Pressure when the Dees went Forward
My 3 Votes for Pies are:

3 Votes - Pendles

2 Votes - Dick

1 Vote - Steele
Couldn't squeeze Swan into a 3 vote possie?

As for the rest... ah forget it!

Why we tend to go to sleep during games is very, very perplexing, our second qtr against dees was simply bloody awful, shocking even. why is this happening, and how do we stop this crap now.????
