I doubt Pickering has an issue with Collingwood, ask Swanny.

I understand the attraction in getting Wells to the Club and a one or two year deal with one year extensions I would think is worth it. I can't understand Norf offering 3 and us offering 4 years. Is it the Boomer effect? We expect everyone to play until they are 39?

When I compare it to the chance we overlooked of getting Stevie J for minimum chips I really scratch my head (I know there has been a change with Gubby coming back).

Pickering is/was Treloar's manager last year.

Two years with an option of a third is what I've read. North originally only offered 1 then upped to 2 after we offered it.

Okay ... I think I'm getting it mixed up with the Mayne talk. Still a significant risk, but more manageable. Most of these vesting options are games based so Club could essentially control whether it gets triggered.

Sounds like the Very High Chance of us Signing Wells also means North won't try and Sign Brown which Means he would stay.

Ch 9 sport update stated Wells to announce move to Pies in the next 24 hours....we shall see.
